The National Policy Board (NPB) is the highest policy-making body of the Federation. It is headed by a Chairman who is elected by the members of the NPB. The members of the NPB are chosen from among the delegates to the National Convention and serve for one year, or until the next National Convention. The number of members of the NPB has varied over the years; at present (2020), the NPB has seventeen (17) members. As a general rule, at least two-thirds of the NPB must come directly from the peasant class.
